Previously held the role of a Managing Consultant in IBM Security, as the Technical Leader of the Security Intelligence & Operations Consulting (SIOC) team in the Middle East. Leading engagements to build and assess Security Operations Centers, Incident Response & Cyber Threat Intelligence & Hunting capabilities.

Prior to Joining IBM Security,  served as a Global Principal Consultant in Micro Focus Security Intelligence & Operations Consulting (SIOC), helping customers establish their Security Operations and Security Incident Response capabilities by leading the security operations, conducting breach response and investigations, training security analysts,  forming Incident Response & Cyber Threat Hunt Teams, and developing governance strategies, processes, procedures and workflows.

Moved to Defensive Security after gaining a good experience and forming a solid background in Offensive Security since the previous role was also a cyber-security consultant in Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk Services where I gained advanced experience in Penetration Testing (Especially for Web Applications), Forensic Investigations, Vulnerability Management, Security Reviews, IT Governance & Compliance, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and Incident Response.

Established many SOCs globally and managed their security operations [Build, Train & Operate end-to-end engagements], helped create the analyst training course material, and trained over 150 analysts till date on Security Monitoring, Incident Response, Offensive Security and Soft Skills required for analysts.

Holder of a B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering with over 6 years of experience in the Information Security field serving Private and Public-Sector entities, Educational, Financial Institutions, Telecom and Oil & Gas industries for customers across the globe.
